A sparse dream like version of Macbeth that I failed to connect with. Denzel and Francis are great actors but they had little chemistry and Denzel tends to mumble his lines instead of projecting the great dialogue. A visual feast but an intellectual famine..

Like watching one of your favourite bands break-up and go their separate ways it's hard to truly know how you feel. However, on a technical aspect this might be the best-looking Shakespeare adaptation.
