humphrey bogart is the star of this film, but receives no credit here. your listings make it difficult to compile lists of favorites by actor because there are so many omissions.

This has so many great moments, it's almost unfair to other films. Hard to follow, but so what?

It's not an easy movie to follow, but Humphrey Bogart keeps it all very watchable.

The Big Sleep is convuluted and hard to follow. If you like convuluted and hard to follow you'll love the big sleep. If you don't you'll love Maltese Falcon. Both are in my fab 5 classic films with Big Sleep at 1 and Maltese Falcon at 4.
