I honestly don't understand why this was critically panned. It's not great, but it is well made and I thought the performances were all good. I'm also not one of those people who found it to be so bad it's good. I thought it was genuinely good.

I'm not sure how much weight is there to be found in the satire among repeat viewings, but it's certainly an entertaining film that is far from the disaster its reputation would make you think. It's stylish, directed with the utmost visceral impact, and features a great cast to boot. I don't care anyone says, Elizabeth Berkeley was great in this film.
