It's criminal how few people have ranked this movie on this site. This is a long one, but I enjoyed almost the entirety of it.

I'm guessing it's "almost" because of the ending? I definitely thought it started very strong and finished a bit on the weak side.

100% agree that more people should see it, but I would expect nothing less of a 3-hour, dialogue-heavy, foreign language film with minimal action.

Just incredible. The brilliant characters and relationships developed between them are so real, deep, and poetic. It's this uniqueness in storytelling that I find so often in Asian cinema, and so foreign to North America, Hollywood especially.
