I'm a great lover of world cinema.... this movie looks like it could have been made in Japan... it's a pity that it's only rated 12 in the UK... more blood and guts would have elevated this film to new heights... but excellent as it is!

Underrated. Oscar Issac's last scene is my favourite part of the film, even though I love the trench one.

It's a shame that the PG13 release of Sucker Punch was such a mess. Makes the film hard to defend when the version most people saw was hacked to ribbons. The Extended Cut isn't just better, it's the complete film. Many essential sequences were removed, a lot of small, but crucial moments were neutered, and the entire point of the film was lost. The PG-13 version comes across as dark and creepy, while the Extended (R) version is the empowering fantasy that Zack Snyder claimed it was. It's a real shame that the only way to see the Uncut version is to buy the Blu-Ray or find someone who already has.
