Harvey is a very heartwarming movie. We all know ecentric people, and sometimes we treat them terribly. Somehow I doubt we would treat James Stewart's character Elwood that way. Leave people alone and be nice seems to be the point of this fantastic film, at least that's my interpretation.

I spent the first two acts just hating Elwood, but by the time the story opens up, I spent most of the third actsmiling. A beautiful illustration of the power of kindness.
