Nice movie. I loved both, The Nice Guys and X-Men: Apocalypse; it's just like we're back to the 80s!

Best film of the year so far. Gosling is hilarious and Crowe is great too and Angourie Rice manages to shine as well. Just a ton of fun.

Great film, Shane Black just knows what he's doing and absolutely kills with this script. Loved every minute of it!

Snappy and fun, but tonally all over the place. Very hit 'n miss in the jokes department. 7/10 from me.

Very fun movie. It was funny but had an intriguing plot. 8.5/10.

Atmospheric and funny. Gosling and Crowe are both phenomenal and have perfect chemistry. They are what keeps this film from falling apart due to a muddled and absurd script. It starts off well-enough, with terrific dialogue and solid set-up. But once the plot kicks in to high-gear it loses all sense of what it is. It's Chinatown on acid. Fun, but flawed, in my personal opinion.

Crowe and Gosling were certainly great, and I loved all the parodies and references to commonalities found in similar films. However, I just feel like nothing got solved in the end of this movie, and the characters didn't really connect in the right way or didn't find the right kind of fulfillment.

Basically it's Diet Pulp Fiction or 70s Kiss Kiss Bang Bang. In my opinion it's too highly rated on this site (at 826) I would put it in the 1500s. I think if the film was less concerned with trying to crack jokes every 3 minutes it would have been on Knives Out level of great.
