A fantastic film! Obviously it doesn't match the first two, but it's certainly a worthy sequel to both. I was pleasantly surprised as I'd stayed away from the film, thinking it would be horrible in comparison to it's successors. Wow was I wrong...

Don't compare it to the first two because those are in the top 5 best films of all time. Watch it as it own. Part 3 has those great opera references and awesome quotes. A very good film

This is much too good to be ranked in the 1800's on flickchart. It at least deserves a spot in the top 1000

The Coda edit is slightly better, making the story more clear and a bit tighter. But it still has all the flaws of Part III at it's core. III is worth watching at least once as a conclusion to the trilogy. It obviously doesn't hold a candle to the first two, but really is a great film and one of the best mob movies. It's a very good conclusion to the trilogy.

7.5/10 for the original.
8/10 for Coda.

Ok, it's not terrible, but I really don't buy the argument that this is some overlooked gem... To me this movie has always been just boring. (I haven't watched the Coda edit yet though, so I'm willing to give it another chance)

Nowhere near as good as the first two installments of the trilogy, but Part III does enough right to close out the Corleone saga in solid fashion.

Surprisingly not as bad as people say it is. The Coda edit, particularly. While it still has flaws that the original had, it's still a great movie, with streaks of true brilliance. Still nowhere near as good as its original two predecessors
