Amazing. Simply amazing. Not only is it the best X-Men film. It's also the best Marvel film to date. Yes, even better the Avengers and the Winter Soldier in my honest opinion. It's climbed up to my top 20 favourite films of all time, which I really did not expect!

Better than First Class better than X2. Combine the best parts of those two and sprinkle in some Dinklage and you get the best Xmen movie yet.

I'm not a huge fan of the X-Men franchise, but this one was pretty great.

WEeeeelllllp, I saw X-Men....7?: Days of Future Past. While never quite reaching the heights of X2, this is still the second best entry in the X-Men franchise and was quite entertaining. The cinematographer had some really interesting shot selections (including a possible homage to the opening of A New Hope) that definitely helped the film. There was some groan inducing dialogue and some befuddling science, even for a superhero film. The film's pacing was also so fast that many characters weren't given more than a line. No character established for many besides their superpowers. Even so, a film with some interesting messages and great acting. I will probably go see it again in 2D and see how my opinion changes upon a second viewing. But 2nd best film of the summer film season so far (behind Cap 2).

Wow. I didn't believe the hype until I saw it and now I'm left wondering: Is this the best X-Men movie to date?

One of the - if not THE - best superhero movies ever.

Good, but I had problems with aspects of it. It was fun though.

Best X-Men movie to date. One of the best superhero movies to date.

It’s start is a bit jarring, the future Sentinels look pretty generic, and I could list a few other nitpicks. But in terms of story, storytelling, and sheer entertainment, the movie scores where it counts.
