Greatly entertaining bio-pic of heavyweight champion James J. Corbett. Errol Flynn is excellent in the title role and his natural athleticism serves him well in the numerous fight scenes. This was reportedly Flynn's favorite of his film performances and his post-fight scene with Ward Bond as the defeated John L. Sullivan is quite touching.
