Philip Seymour Hoffman is in this movie. This is his break out role.

Boogie Nights stayed with me. It disturbed me. I think it plays a little too light in places, resolves a little too easily, but it packed a deep emotional punch for me. I felt this movie days after viewing.

It is a masterpiece. Boogie Nights and Lost Highway are the 2 best of 1997
