Good Noir with plenty of twists and a great cast.

Glenn Ford was great here. This could be the most vicious 1950's movie I have ever seen. Mean ass plot turns everywhere....

A cool, gritty (for 1953) cops ‘n’ robbers film that keeps you engaged throughout. Fun watch with lots of angst and less of the cheesy, gee-williker veneer plaguing most of its contemporaries.
