Pretty disappointing for me. Toshirô Mifune is excellent as always and the last 30 minutes or so are pretty good, but the stuff that comes before really drags.

Great movie! while it does drag in some parts, I really like the ending where (spoiler alert) every single character is killed off. It’s depressing, but poignant and powerful.
