Hey, no worries. I'm glad to add you. :)I love the variety in your top ten. :)Encourage you? Well, you can come chat to me about movies whenever you want to. I'm glad to recommend movies also. Can you tell me your opinion on The Lego Movie, please? I want to see it, but it's a few months before it's released in Australia.

Did House work for you? It's an odd one, eh? :)

It was very strange! But I liked it...in a weird way.

Thanks for the request! You've got a very interesting and varied top ten, whats the movie amores perros about?
lexicona on 4/29/2014 Reply · Like · (1 like)
Thanks for adding me! I liked your taste a lot.Amores Perros is a fantastic movie. It is split into three parts showing different "couples" and their relationships, except it is so much more than that. All of the characters are connected with the opening car crash, and then the movie takes you back in time. It is the same director as Babel. I highly recommend it!

Have to check it out sometime, have you not seen star wars?
lexicona on 5/5/2014 Reply · Like · (0 likes)
I haven't! I tried to watch it once, and then the kid I was babysitting wanted to go outside...I never got around to it! One day, I will sit there and watch all six.For now, it is so sad that I haven't seen them it is almost funny. What should I watch next?

I really like your list to The Royal Tenenbaums is the only Wes Anderson film I haven't seen surprisingly I'll try to watch it soon
The Royal Tennenbaums is just perfect to me. I never get sick of it. Did you watch his other movies? What have you liked the best so far?

Wes Anderson I think is one amazing director I believe I need to see Bottle Rocket as well but anyway I know most people can't really get into his type of film making absolutely love it I like the colors in his film the way he angles his camera to show around places I don't know if you notice but when lets say someone's talking and the camera is facing that person he would kinda blur that image of the person and focus in on the background So my favorite Wes Anderson film hands down would be Rushmore I love his other films as well but I think his masterpiece is Rushmore my favorite coming of age film I haven't seen it in a while though so I'm going to have to rewatch it soon

I actually have no seen Rushmore yet! It's embarrassing. I better watch it this weekend! But I agree. I love everything about how he films. I love how real and yet surreal everything can be.

What did you think of The Grand Budapest Hotel I really enjoyed it but I need to watch it again because there's a lot to keep up on in it
lexicona on 5/6/2014 Reply · Like · (1 like)
I really, really liked it! It was interesting because it was definitely Wes Anderson, but it was much darker than usual for him.
cheesydog1 on 5/8/2014 Reply · Like · (0 likes)
I see you just added Rushmore what did you think of it
lexicona on 5/10/2014 Reply · Like · (0 likes)
I liked it a lot! Not as much as some of the others he did, though.

How was Cannibal Holocaust?
lexicona on 6/13/2014 Reply · Like · (0 likes)
I watched that so many years ago....it is old and the music is goofy, but you will soon see why it bothered so many people. It is definitely not a movie to watch with others.
Arthouse on 9/27/2014 Reply · Like · (0 likes)
So you've seen like 700 movies but never any of the Star Wars'?
lexicona on 10/1/2014 Reply · Like · (0 likes)
At this point, it is a self-fulfilling prophesy I think! Like, it is almost so funny that I haven't seen them, that I keep not trying to!

Yes, I do have a distinct affinity for older films. Have you really not seen The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly? North by Northwest? City Lights? I highly recommend all three.

Interesting choice of films. Space Odyssey used to be one of my favourites of all time for a while and I consider Clerks a guilty pleasure.Who are your favourite directors?
