Mark Wahlberg as an assassin with an heart of gold vs. Franka Potente as a whiny chick trying to save her idiot boyfriend. Run Lola Run is exciting, but only because of the music and hyperactivity. The story gave me no reason to care about the exciting parts, and so Run Lola Run is about as deep as music video but it goes on much longer. The Big Hit has entertaining characters and loads of violent fun, and is far more rewarding. Lou Diamond Phillips was particularly enjoyable.
The Big Hit was totally off my radar the moment I left the theater. Run Lola Run on the other hand had a refreshingly different way to tell a story and I never tire of it.
