This is a hard one. Both represent the destruction of childhood fantasies by major film studios.

I at least don't feel betrayed by Superman Returns. They tried to do something innovative, with mixed success. Crystal Skull is just plain lazy.

I have never been a big Superman fan. I also thought the movie was a little slow and boring. Crystal Skull was a pretty good movie as an addition to the previous Indie movies. It was not my favorite but still pretty good.
