Venom isn’t great but Apocalypse was sellout, soulless bullcrap that Marvel could’ve dribbled out! Venom... is sellout, soulless bullcrap that could’ve been so much better with more time and effort put in and if they bumped the rating up from M (PG13) to MA (R) but it still wins here.

both are bad but venom had interesting plot and main characters and apocalypse has bad villain

For me the character of Ieno from Venom was adapted so much better than Apocalypse that this was truly the worst adaptation of a homage piece
