Deadly Love is a terribly acted VHS horror flick without much blood. It is, however funny in its crappiness. The Burning Moon is everything Deadly Love is turned up to eleven. More blood, more madness, more everything. It is a masterpiece of VHS horror. I would only recommend Deadly Love over Burning Moon if the person I'm recommending it to is not ready for the crazed nihilism that Moon brings to the table. Otherwise Moon is a much better horror film. Not for beginners, mind you, but a much better show.
