Large amounts of obscenity aside, Sausage Party seemed to lean a lot into "It's cartoons, so swearing and sex are funny!" In South Park, the raunch actually had a purpose and was relevant to the plot. Vulgarity by itself isn't humor, and I think Sausage party forgot that at many points.
