Open Season is one of the most pointless and most stupid animated movies I've seen. Madagascar 3 is pretty damn good as far as animated threequels go.

Okay look @lukiushaufoy I think you will find that Open Season is possibly the most revolutionary franchise of its time. As a professional film student attending an academy I can safely say that Open Season is the greatest. It draws from the German Expressionist era as well as the famous DADA movement, it is pure genius. I think you'll find that Roger the cat is allegory for communist Russian government with his controversial ideas and theories for example his classic line "I want a girlfriend" is in reality a call for allies. The cinematography is breathtaking and very well thought out as the contrasting and colour scheme really makes you feel like you're actually in the forest. And don't even get me started on the beautiful soundtrack, for example the legendary song "close to you" performed by the entire cast will get even your grandma in tears of joy. The director Matthew is a comedic genius utilising comedic timing to its full potential. So sir I know ask you to reconsider your "strong" opinion on such a phenomenal film created by a group of creative/comedic geniuses. Thank you yours sincerely, an intellectual.
