Forrest Gump has good parts, but it's largely schlocky and poorly-acted, not to mention that it sends the unfortunate message that you don't have to do anything to succeed in life, that things will just happen to you. Titanic is pretty much excellent all around, so it wins.

Both are a little overrated but still great. Forrest for me!

Titanic for its spectacular second half. Never really cared for Forrest Gump
