The Cabin in the Woods vs. Evil Dead II

It's pretty easy to tell that Whedon and Goddard were inspired by Raimi and the Evil Dead trilogy as they were putting their efforts into Cabin in the Woods. I enjoy both of these films immensely. They're fun and really don't take themselves seriously. Cabin has one of the most unpredictable endings I've seen in a film and Evil Dead has none other than Bruce Campbell as the bonafide bad ass Ash Williams. This is a tough decision.

Groovy.

It's close, but I have to go for Evil Dead 2.

Swallow this.

Evil Dead 2 no question at all

Love Cabin but the but the inspiration is better Evil Dead 2 wins.

Cabin was damn good, but this isn't really close.
