I'll be damned. You know, Roxanne was one of my favorite movies to rewatch on cable TV. I was a lot younger at the time, and I can't entirely explain my mindset from so long ago, but there definetly was a point in my life when I truly enjoyed Roxanne. The same could almost be said for The Fog. The difference is that I repeatedly rewatched many John Carpenter flicks back in the day, and The Fog was among my least favorite. A good number of Carpenter movies would beat Roxanne in a matchup, but I probably prefer Roxanne in this case. It even has Shelley Duvall in it.
