You Only Live Twice vs. A View to a Kill

Both are underrated in my opinion. While A View to a Kill is really good, You Only Live Twice is great.

While You Only Live Twice is really average, A View to a Kill is shit.

Yeah, A View to a Kill sucks. It does have a few entertaining bits in it and it's certainly not as awfully boring as Moonraker (or as annoying as Diamonds are Forever), but Moore's age issue is REALLY apparent in this film. It's downright creepy in a few scenes. And Christopher Walken as the villain is the exact opposite of what you expect him to be like. While he does have a few cheesy moments, 95% of his screentime is really boring. You Only Live Twice is probably the most ridiculous Bond film that has a straight face, which results in quite some entertainment value. Sean Connery looks bored out of his mind and the dialogue is problematic, but the rest of the film is actually pretty decent. It's no "high art" in the world of Bond films, not at all, but it's fairly entertaining nonetheless.
