Two amazing films. However, Unforgiven gets the nod.

Both brutal, but Harakiri gets the edge for such a fantastic non-linear storyline.

Yes, both films are definitely brutal, but Unforgiven made me "feel" it more. For that, I say it's the better flick.

Love this matchup! Unforgiven is great, but Harakiri is my pick here. No question about it.

Broken men forced to the edge -- driven blindly into revenge. Unforgiven's themes about the consequences of violence resonate more, and it boosts the story on so many levels.
Harakiri wins...
