Matt Damon has never been what I consider a stellar actor, but he did very well in the role of Jason Bourne. Pierce Brosnan has never been what I consider a stellar actor, but I always wanted him in the role of James Bond, so I was happy when he was finally cast. Both movies are great, and while the storyline for GoldenEye is far more action-packed than Bourne Identity, I still have to give the win to Bourne because it was just a slightly better movie.

Honestly, this is a total coin toss for me... Guess I'll go with GoldenEye if I absolutely have to pick, but really I don't have 'that' big of a preference either way here; I just really liked both, nothing more, nothing less.
