The Truman Show vs. The Seventh Seal

Two great films about life from the human perspective, with wildly different conclusions. Even though I find myself aligned more in philosophy with the uplifting, thought-provoking Truman Show, The Seventh Seal is a rare perfect film made by a master of cinema (Bergman) with a wonderfully audacious premise (playing chess with death as a metaphor for life's transience) that is also quite thought-provoking and deviously magnetic. Seventh Seal FTW.
