This is tough. The Tree of Life is one of the most beautiful looking films I've ever seen. But Inglourious Basterds is something special for me. It's one of the best satires I've ever seen and probably the best satire of the 21st century. It's subtle, tense, funny, disturbing, mature, and just so much god damn fun. Filled with amazing performances, fantastic cinematography and lighting, etc. Inglourious Basterds takes this for me.
