Two interesting animated movies, but "Cloudy" takes it on charm, heart and execution. "Bee Movie" tried to appeal too much to the adults (and sometimes failed at it) while only mildly trying to pass as a kid's movie. The court scenes were hilarious, though.

Meh. I don't remember Cloudy very clearly, but I *DO* recall thinking that it jumped the shark partway through and ended up being more stupid than zany. Wasn't there some scene in there with the fat kid and a bunch of turkeys? It lost my interest at that point. I know that not many people like Bee Movie, but you must admit that the jokes at their best are terribly funny. My dad went to see it free with a group from work, expecting it to be awful, and then liked it so much that we bought the DVD for his birthday. It's a family favorite and imminently quotable. "Can John Travolta fly a plane?" "... Yes." "HOW HARD CAN IT BE?"
