Jaws by far. The Lost World is excellent but come on who in their right mind would choose it over Jaws.

Before I would've said Lost World, but Jaws does hold up better.

Jaws is a all time Favorite of mine
The Lost World is an exemplary sequel to Jurassic Park, mainly due to Michael Crichton's beautiful plotline that isn't heavily dependent on the previous movie. However, Jaws is a pioneering movie. It established the summer action flick, the monster movie. Jurassic Park would not have had success if not for Jaws. The simple storyline of Jaws is impeccable, and Spielberg's masterful casting the the curt dialogue creates a movie that is near perfect. Jaws is my winner.

Jaws is one of Spielbergs best. Lost World is one of Spielbergs worst
