Fuck, both directed by Kim Jee Woon and played by Lee Byung Hun! Both are great, but I Saw the Devil is more of my taste. This is subjective, as I prefer thriller.
I Saw the Devil is far too sluggish to let its tension really seize you. Granted, A Bittersweet Life isn't much pacier, but there's a nice solemness to it, particularly the ending.
