These are both masterpieces I haven't quite locked onto emotionally yet. Great films. Breathless is a bit more original.

I don't "get" Breathless. I understand why it was a big deal and it's been explained to me the appeal, but I really don't understand the fuss. The Fly for me.
Love both films for different reasons. Breathless wins this matchup by a hair.
