Barry Lyndon is quite good, even though it has more than a few slow patches. Days of Heaven, on the other hand, is just one big slow patch. So boring. Redmond Barry wins...

The cinematography in both is some of the most beautiful and majestic ever put to film. Although I don't mind Days of Heaven's pretty minimalistic plot, Barry Lyndon wins as it has a compelling and fantastic narrative.
