I'll be the minority vote in this discussion, I've seen both of these films 3 times, and as much as I've enjoyed The Philadelphia Story, I find Bringing Up Baby funnier and more entertaining.

I prefer Kate as the madcap heiress in Bringing Up Baby to the distant goddess of The Philadelphia Story. BUB also has the more unique role for Grant. And honestly everyone telling Kate how a woman ought to act in TPS just makes me uncomfortable.

I love Hepburn in almost all she does, so it's no surprise that I love both of these movies. But I find Bringing up Baby to be the funnier of the two.
