The Philadelphia Story is a lighthearted romantic comedy that plays an all star cast to great comedic effect. The story, dialogue and cinematography meld so seamlessly together that the end result is one of the finer comedies of the 1940's. I watched Stone of Destiny with absolutely no expectations - to be honest, I can't even remember what put it on my radar. That being said, I was delighted by what I received, a magnificent historical story of underdogs fighting against an insurmountable opponent, with the added touches of romance and comedy. I give the victory to Stone of Destiny, it's definitely the story I'd be more likely to rewatch.
