Scream is a very smart, intelligent deconstruction of the teen slasher/horror film. Spider-Man 3 however, is the weakest of the franchise due to the fact that it has a bloated story. Too many villains and wastes one of the greatest villians of the Spider-Man series in Venom.

Spider-Man 3 was absolutely horrid, at least Scream is an entertaining commentary on modern teen culture.
