Two of the very best movies I've watched (for the first time) this year (but not from this year). Sacred Deer was simply amazing. Holy Christ, it blew me away, I'm speechless. Well, let's talk about Apocalypse Now. It's almost unbeatable for me. What a hell of an experience. It's atmospheric, beautifully shot and it's easier to understand. Perhaps, Sacred Deer is going to be top 20-10 material in repeated viewings, but it probably won't beat Apocalypse Now. Two flawless cinematic masterpieces right here, brother.
