This is the kind of paring I love. Unarguably these are two of the greatest films ever made, but which is greater? I genuinely love Citizen Kane, but I think I have to go with Lawrence Arabia because of its scale and its near-perfect visuals. Welles' depth-of-field cinematography just can't match Lean's eye for composition.

I like Citizen Kane but Lawrence of Arabia is one of my favorites. Both are, as Doc_Brown said, unarguably two of the greatest films ever made.

Citizen Kane is better
