I really like the show more than the movies, but this is the worst episode they've done so I'm going to give Downey the edge in this one.
The Series episode, easily. Ritchie's Holmes is too much of a dumbed down Buddy Cop film for me to put it ahead.

The only Sherlock ep that I would rank below the Downey Jr. movie would be The Blind Banker. Hounds of Baskerville was hardly one of the very best episodes, but I didn't think it was half as awful as some fans say.
