Gone with the Wind vs. Citizen Kane

Coin flip!

One of the most, if not the most, critically acclaimed films yet made vs. what is still the most financially successful film yet made. I just watched Citizen Kane for the first time. After years of stubbornly resisting its necessity, Flickchart's "hall of shame", which I intent to work through if I can, persuaded me to take a view. But there is no question that my resistance was well-founded; Gone with the Wind may not be as innovative, but it is surely the more entertaining film.

This is very very very difficult, but Orson Welles probably deserves it

Citizen Kane is a far better film. Gone With the Wind is a four hour soap-opera. Ashley is overrated, Scarlett...

Definetely Gone with the wind!! One of the best movies ever

I’m going with Kane on this one

I'm going to with Citizen Kane for the amount of innovations it pioneered that we take for granted today.

My heart is with Scarlett but Citizen Lane is the superior film.

Kane is the superior film

Both are garbage, objectively.

Two of the greatest epics of all time. Gone With the Wind has an All-Time cast

Going with rosebud here
