As much as I love Aliens, FOTR is just too epic. I rate to the LOTR trilogy as follows: ROTK > FOTR > TT. So, Two Towers is last of the three. It's also more action-packed which makes it a better matchup for the action-packed Aliens. But I'd still place TT over Aliens. There aren't many movies I'd pick over the LOTR trilogy. I could probably count on one hand.
