Terrible Shark films!… so most Shark films. Deep Blue Sea 2 isn’t even a sequel really, just a disaster of a remake of the first one. It’s cheep, awfully written, terribly acted, and lazily directed. But somehow, Shark Night is even worse. It has all of these problems but bigger. And also pulls out some BS “thought provoking ideas” that make no sense. And it also has that kind of misogyny a lot of shark films have where the girls are just eye candy that gets eaten. Deep Blue Sea 2, as bad as it is, does not have that.
