The Master vs. Scent of a Woman

This comparison is a great arc of the career of the brilliant, and unfortunately gone too soon Philip Seymour Hoffman. Scent of a Woman is a movie that won Al Pacino an Oscar, but Hoffman and Chris O'Donnell had to share screen time with the legend and go toe to toe with him. The Master is the opposite. Hoffman takes a hold of you from his 1st scene in The Master, and much like the title, Masters the film.
