Mistress America wasn't bad, but it felt like something was missing. Frances Ha gets my vote for being much more consistent.

Really liked Mistress America, absolutely loved Frances Ha. Noah Baumbach is quickly climbing my list of favorite directors...
This is hard, I guess I'll have to go with Mistress America for now, but it could easily change.
