What a pair. This is genuinely difficult. I suppose I shall have to choose the one that ends with a glimmer of hope.

I'm going with Children of Men. Much more visually stunning.

I'll choose 12 Monkeys. There aren't many films out there wich can take out 12 Monkeys in my book. Children of Men, although not at all a bad creation, certainly isn't one of them. It didn't really have that thing wich could had made it truly remarcable.
