Hell or High Water was worlds better, Arrival was mainly a technical showcase until its last act. Still loved it.

Arrival has a smart script, but can feel a bit lethargic so edge to Hell or High Water for more action

The first 2 acts of Arrival are probably better than all of Hell or High Water, but everything after that twist really brings it all down. I like both, but in terms of a more consistent ride, I like Hell or High Water more.
