Batman & Robin vs. Batman Begins

Tough choice! Begins is allright I guess but how can you beat lines as "You're not sending me to the cooler" delivered with Schwarzeneggers convincing acting.

Hmm...

This is a joke. Batman Begins is 10x the movie of this clunker...

Batman Begins is better... are u surprised?

ahahahahahaha

I actually kind of liked Batman & Robin (seriously, no kidding), but Batman Begins is obviously better.

It's a good thing they had eight years to think about a way to revive Batman and erase the atrocious Batman & Robin from our memories (as if that was possible). Batman Begins is so much better than Batman

Christopher Nolan is a personal hero of mine. But lemme just say that Joel Schumacher has made some movies that I genuinely like. (Um, no...Batman & Robin is not one of them.)

Yeah, Schumacher does alright with straightforward thrillers. I really liked "Phone Booth." But "Batman & Robin" is in my bottom five, and is often the very lowest-ranked film on my list.

After the initial Batman w/Michael Keaton, Jack Nicholson = all crap. UNTIL Nolan took over - then we got BAT on track ;) (womp, womp)

Why are we even given a choice here, Batman & Robin is one of the worst movies ever. Seriously.

NOLAN!

Really?

What else is there to say about B&R that hasn't already been said? It single-handedly killed off live action Batman films for nearly a decade. Batman Begins not only brought Batman back in a big way, but influenced the decade's influx of reboots and detailed origin stories, becoming one of the most influential and mimicked films of the century. Batman Begins for the win.

I liked Batman and Robin better. Everyone complains about the corniness of the movie but today's superhero movies such as Avengers are lauded with praise even though there is a joke almost every second. Contrary to popular belief, I think George Clooney was the best portrayal of Bruce Wayne/Batman.

not to mention Elliot Goldenthal's music score was one of the best batman scores I

.....have ever heard. For those of you who care about music in the movies. Hans Zimmer who did the Nolan Batman scores is incredible as well

Really? Nothing can ever beat Christopher Nolan's take on Batman. Although Christian Bale isn't the strongest Batman, Cillian Murphy is amazing as scarecrow, and that's what puts this movie over the edge into one of my favorites of all time. Especially over Batman & Robin.

I think it's a tougher choice than it would seem at first. Nothing in Batman & Robin was as bad as the earnestly stupid/stupidly earnest dialogue poor Katie Holmes had to read. "It's the hockey team from Hell!" > "It's not who you are inside that counts, it's what you do that defines you." And I'll take fun, ironically stupid camp over dour, realistic spray-painting scenes any day of the week.

Uhh...Batman & Robin has votes? I'm puzzled over that. Begins all the way.

Even though Batman Begins is my least favorite Christopher Nolan movie, it isn't my least favorite Batman movie. That's either Batman Returns (yeah...yeah. I really don't like it) or Batman & Robin.

Batman Begins is just a retooling and revamping of The Batman, Batman and Robin is one of the worst Super Hero movies of all time and practically killed the genre.

Batman & Robin is my favorite Batman movie out of the ones I've seen. The popularity of any of these movies is a joke, might as well go with the most hilariously inept one.

Going with Nolan's first blockbuster triumph.

Like there is really anything I can add to this discussion...

The film that all most destroyed batman or the film that saved him.

Batman and Robin has an unnecessary black light fetish.

batman begins blows batman and robin away.

Batman Begins is better in every way.

Two films featuring the same bland protagonist. One with cheese one patterned after a cheese fart.

Hey, I remember you, can you do me a favour? Can you, SquareMaster and Yellowjacket have a pointless, meaningless, brainless conversation about Marvel and Christopher Nolan and spam the crap out of this matchup, make yourself look like idiots and annoy the living piss out of everyone else including me? That would be great, thanks in advance.

batman begins anyday

Batman Begins: Greatest Superhero origin film ever (Hell, greatest origin film ever), and surpassed only by its iconic sequel.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

This is hilarious. Batman Begins is the least best in the Nolan trilogy but it's still deeper in greatness by miles. But Batman and Robin is one of the funniest stories ever and I actually like Christian Bale's Batman voice. Whenever he talked in that voice I thought to myself "That's Batman!" So including the voice, Bale is the best Batman ever. Even better than Michael Keaton and Kevin Conroy but especially better than Val Kilmer and of course, the worst Batman of all-George Clooney.

Batman Begins. I don't think I need to explain why

lol is this even a question

Hahahahahahahaha. :D

*rolls eyes*. This is like asking what's better "Die Another Day or Casino Royale?" (And the answer to that question is Casino Royale and the answer to this one is Batman Begins).

I love how the 4 positive comments for Batman & Robin is from the same person. Made my day.

Redefines awful. Burton Batman also started great but turned to crap. Same thing happened to Nolan Batman. By the third film = complete crap.

Batman begins is much better

obviously Batman and Robin amirite guys???

The fact that Batman and robin has any votes at all makes me question whether humanity should exist
