Scream 5 (it's a sequel, just stick a number on the end already) isn't bad. It definitely has its flaws but when you get to the fifth movie in a horror franchise you're lucky not to get absolute crap. Speaking of crap, Texas Chainsaw 2022 is a total waste of time. If you like gore and fun death scenes then it does a decent job at that, it just fails at literally everything else. Scream 5 for the win.

TCM is exactly the kind of "requel" Scream (5) is making fun of.
TCM 2022 has some of the most stupid characters ever put on screen.

All true, but I did enjoy watching Leathermug carve up a pack of smug, sanctimonious influencers. I do like society's dead weight to be just that. Boring film, but a little bit of value in there.

Scream 5 surprised me, TCM 2022 not only disappointed me a lot, it is also one of the worst movies I have ever seen
