Dances with Wolves vs. The Lost Weekend

I recently watched both of these for the first time, and as Best Picture winners go, I honestly feel like Dances with Wolves's epic sweeping feels stronger than The Lost Weekend's frankness on alcoholism. Granted, they're still pretty good on their own, even if The Lost Weekend may not be as strong as The Apartment and Dances with Wolves isn't as well-done as Goodfellas, but I liked them both.
