National Lampoon's European Vacation vs. Clue

European is the weakest of the three original Vacation Movies, IMO. And Clue is the great comedy no one ever mentions, but that just about everyone I talk to loves. Because it rocks.

I recently watched Clue again for the first time in ten years, and while I would have picked it over European Vacation beforehand, I must admit I wasn't overly impressed with it this time. European Vacation is certainly not as good as Christmas Vacation or the original Vacation, but the Griswolds are always loveable, and European Vacation is still good fun. Clue definitely worked better for me when I was younger; today, some gags feel just silly, and the film isn't really much better than the similar Murder by Death. It's still entertaining, but not as good as it used to be.

I like European Vacation but its the weakest of the 4 films and although Clue was all over the place the performers were excellent it just wasnt a great story or plot I do like it but i might have to go with the Griswalds here?

What? Mrs. Peacock was a man?
